  Q. How long will the process take?

           A. Typically, after excavation it should take 1 week to 10 days.

       Q. Will my yard be a mess after?

​           A. On most projects we will perform a cleanup with seed and straw however with new home constructions there will be some added clean up required.

        Q. How will you get a concrete truck into my yard?

             A. Depending on the accessibility we will either use a concrete pump truck, wheel  barrel or buggy.

        Q. What types of material do you remove?

            A. We will remove existing concrete, small to moderate sized tree roots or stumps and rock. 

         Q. Do I need a permit for my concrete project?

             A. Any project that is located within city limits and under a roof will require a city permit.

Q. Do I need to call before we dig?

   No, if we are the general contractor for the project we will contact J.U.L.I.E for you.

   Q. What do I need to do to prepare the site?

  Depending on the project the customer may be responsible for tree removal, erosion control, electrical to  the site and/or access.

  Q. How thick will my concrete be?​

 A. This is dependent on the project but most sidewalks and driveways are 4" thick, footings vary dependent on the load carried, wall thickness depends on the length of the wall for example anything greater than 50 ft needs to be 10" thick.

 Q. Once my concrete is poured how long should I stay off?

 A. Once concrete is poured you will be able to walk on it after 24 hours, you should wait up to 5 days to drive a vehicle on it.​

Q. What type of maintenance does concrete require? 

A.We recommend to wash it with a garden house or pressure washer as needed and re-seal annually with any type of concrete sealant. We use a sealant on all of our projects.

Q. When is it too cold to pour concrete?

A. We recommend temperatures above 32 degrees and above to pour concrete.

Q. How long is the waiting list to have my project started?

A. This varies on the time of year and our workload. Generally there is a 3-4 week waiting period at the height of our season. 

Q. What can I expect start to finish?

A. Depending on the project we will either do a site evaluation or request project blueprints and produce a written estimate based on your request within 24 hours. Once you have decided to hire us as your contractor we will provide you with a signed agreement and accept payment terms of half down and final on completion. We will give you an approximate start and finish time before we begin the project.
